The game is neverending in the faerie realm. It must be played constantly, and death is just the beginning of defeat.

Lily Boyd is determined to be more than a pawn in this faerie game. With the Wild Horn in her possession, she holds the key to the Wild Hunt, an unstoppable force neither human nor fay can control. The Wild Hunt has the power to unbalance the Courts in the faerie realm. It’s the perfect bargaining chip for Lily to save her grandmother, but she must play the game wisely if she hopes to succeed. On one side, she has a deal with Cadowain, a Seelie knight who vowed to help Lily in her quest. On the other side, she is at the mercy of Troy, a trickster Kelpie from the Unseelie Court who can command her at will using her True Name.

Whatever path she chooses, Lily must walk a fine line, keeping her head, wit, and words about her as she formulates a plan to find the Faerie Doctor before it’s too late. She’s playing for the win now, and to achieve that, she must live up to her new name . . . the Herald of the Wild Hunt.

The ways of the fey
By dora la exploradora
The Wild Curse continues where the Wild Hunt ended. Lily awoke and knew that Troy had saved her. He hid her from the hunter and she was asking herself why because Troy was supposed to be a monster who prey on human. They were escorted to the Unseelie Court to meet the Unseelie Queen. All the time Lily was thinking about her bargain with Cadowain and how she was going to get her Grandma Mackenna back. But the Unseelie Court was full of dangers and when she met the librarian strange things happened to Lily. Still Troy was there to help her and she was hesitating again. He knew her True Name and that made her under his control. After the almost assault the Unseelie Queen commanded the hunter to get Lily to safety and Troy went with them. They had to fight an evil fey and her army. With all of them almost dead in the struggle Lily knew the truth about the consequences of her previous actions. But Troy comforted her and when he touched her she knew she was having some feelings toward him. And he seemed to be lowering his walls because he let her touch him too. But betrayal was waiting for her at the end of her destination. In this second book we know a little more about the characters, the Wild Hunt and the ways of the fey. Lily is gaining knowledge and getting stronger in her Herald role. The author is unfolding the mystery of the Wild Hunt and its importance to the story. Also, there is the mystery around Troy and his feelings for a mere mortal like Lily. The book kept me thinking looking for clues about the characters. The way of the fey is twisted and tricky and I think the author is doing a good work with the dialogs trapping the reader in the intrigue of the seelie and unseelie. Liked the book and the end left me eager for the next book.

Is Lily's Best Effort Enough to Save the Faerie Doctor?
By AmazonCustomer
The long awaited sequel, at last! I LOVED Faerie Sworn Book 1 so snatching up Book 2 was a no brainer. My only regret is that I couldn't put it down, devoured it in nearly one sitting, and now I have to wait for book THREE. What kind of sorcery is this?! In the realm of the fae, they are playing a dangerous games with the lives of both fae and humans alike, and the stakes are higher than you can even imagine. The problem is, it's completely out of their control. Lily, however, is too strong-willed to accept that. She plans to use the wild horn to barter in exchange for her grandmother's life. But what does she risk by doing this. What dangers await if the Faerie Courts are thrown out of balance? I have to say, I wasn't expecting this turn of events with the introduction of Cadowain. Is it bad I still like Troy, even though he unfairly uses Lily's true name to control her? I really enjoyed how this played out. Lily has everything at stake, but if there's anyone who can accomplish it, it's her. The thing is whether or not that's good enough.

Another 5 star read from Ron C. Nieto.
By MoonlightReader
How amazing is it that I just randomly came across book one in the Faerie Sworn series for free, read it, and loved it! I love when that happens!

I actually enjoyed this book even more than book one!

One of my favorite things about this book, was that I didn’t always agree with Lily’s decisions. I know, that may seem a bit silly, but when you agree with everything the character does it just makes the book totally boring. Which was NOT the case in The Wild Curse!

Also, I’m not a fan of insta love or books with characters that immediately fall for each other. I’m not going to say more on the subject for those of you that may read this book, but let me just say it’s one more reason this series rocks.

Book three, and the final book in the series just came out yesterday, so excuse me while I go read.
